About Me

I am a clinical psychologist with more than 35 years of experience at the doctoral level. Early on I pursued an academic career with faculty appointments in the medical schools of Hahnemann, Brown, and Case Western Reserve Universities. I published in professional psychology and medical journals, and presented at conferences both nationally and internationally. I have since been in private practice for more than 20 years. In addition to conducting many hundreds of forensic/disability examinations and serving as an expert witness, the bulk of my private practice experience has been as an outpatient psychologist and psychotherapist working with adults. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have special interests in treating mood, both Depression and Bipolar Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. However, I work effectively with individuals experiencing a wide array of difficulties. In addition, I provide objective assessments for adults with suspected Attention Deficit disorders. I also have extensive experience treating severe disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program.
